Christmas Midnight Mass

X

Proudly called the "Christmas Parish," Holy Trinity (German) Church continued its tradition of celebrating a High Midnight Mass on the Feast of our Lord's Nativity. The celebration began on Sunday night, Dec. 24, at 11:30 p.m. with a Carol Concert sung by the combined choirs of Holy Trinity. This musical program was followed by a German Candlelight Procession at midnight and the Blessing of the Creche. A High Mass in the Tridentine Rite followed immediately thereafter. The celebrant for the liturgy was Rev. Fr. Charles Higgins from St. Theresa's Parish in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. This Mass is considered by many to be Holy Trinity's most beautiful.
